Independent Scaffold
This consists of two rows of standards with each row being joined together with ledgers. The ledgers support the transverse transoms. The scaffold is erected independent from the building but is tied to it at suitable intervals. The inner row should be set as close as is practicable to the building. A base plate is provided for each row of standards.
Cantilever Scaffold
This is a type of independent scaffold which is erected on cantilever beams and secured to a building at only one end. The other side is left hanging or exposed. This type of scaffold is efficient in that it provides access to areas that would be difficult or uneconomic to reach using a scaffold system erected from ground level. Workers operating on cantilever scaffold systems must be fitted with safety harnesses.
Access Tower
Platforms and guardrails for optimal safety support access scaffold towers, since these services would require work to be done from greater heights. This type of scaffolding is erected by scaffold erectors and inspected by supervisors before and during use, to ensure safety at all times. Access scaffolding is most suitable for projects involving high-rise buildings and towers.
Mobile Scaffold
Mobile tower scaffold, this type of scaffold is assembled from pre-formed framing components and fitted with wheels which allow it to be rolled from one place to another. It is typically used on sites where multiple areas require access for light maintenance work, or where a traditional scaffold would have to cover too great a distance to be practical.
Perimeter Scaffold
Perimeter scaffolding structures cover the whole perimeter of the building in question. The scaffolding solutions we offer at Tony Scaffolding are highly versatile. We provide a wide array of scaffolding systems, ranging from small scale scaffolds that are best suited for domestic projects to full scale scaffolds covering buildings as high as 10-15 floors.
Hanging Scaffold
Hanging Scaffold (or suspended scaffoldings) are height access systems, which allows working on the whole building surface, with a total security. The assembly and the dismantling of this modular height access system are simple and fast ! It allows starting a project in a quick and efficient way.
